File security is a growing issue with the internet age. I have a secure server to send mixes for my clients to hear. As a client, you will be the only one with access to your files, and you can share them with whoever you want. The most important thing in my entire studio (other than my ears) are my clients files. I treat all of my client files, from Major Label artists to independent artists, with the same respect and security.

WE WILL MIX OR MASTER A PORTION OF YOUR 1ST SONG FOR FREE. IF YOU ARE PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS, OUR REGULAR RATES WILL APPLY.

Vocal Editing: Expert vocal tuning by actually fixing and re-pitching any problem spots in the vocal tracks. We don't just insert AutoTune and "let it run" - this is the most natural and professional sounding method.

Additional mixes: We can provide T.V. mixes, instrumental mixes, vocal up/down mixes, etc. of any tracks that we mix.
Recalls: We can recall your mixes or masters to make any additional changes you may require for up to 30 days. This gives you plenty of time to "live with" your mixes and hear themin lots of different environments (like your home, your car, your PC speakers, in the club, etc.).

IMPORTANT - HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SESSION FILES:

• We can accept Protools sessions, WAV, SD2, or AIFF files. We can also accept mp3 files, but please note that you lose quality with mp3s and this may compromise your mix.
  
• It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that all files are consolidated or merged into continuous files from beat 1 of the song so they all line up.
• Please make sure all tracks are labeled precisely as to what they are and that all unwanted noises and tracks have been removed.
• Remove all plugins from the tracks - if you have a certain effect you like, bounce it to a separate track and label accordingly - i.e., "solo guitar effect".
• Leave all files at the original sample rate and bit depth and please do not "maximize" any volume levels.
• If you have a "rough mix" that you like, please include it with the files as a reference.

TO INSURE THE BEST POSSIBLE RESULTS, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE PREPARATION GUIDELINES.
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOME ISSUES CAN BE "FIXED IN THE MIX", BUT IT'S MOST IMPORTANT TO START WITH WELL RECORDED TRACKS.

THE PROCESS:

• Determine if you need any optional services.
• Contact us to discuss your project.
• Once we've received your files and payment, we will contact you with a tentative delivery date.
• After the mixes / masters have been completed, we will upload files for your approval. You send me the song to mix and give me a general or specific direction you want me to go in. I will mix the song until I have completed the mix to my standards. Then I'll upload your mix to a secured FTP area of my Web site, not accessible to the public. I'll email you a link and a password for you to download your mix. You download it, burn it to CD, and listen to your song.
• Once you hear your mix, if there are things you want to change about it, you simply call or email me with your change requests and I implement those changes and send you another updated mix. Again you download and listen, and if needed, you can make more change requests. This process goes on until we have finished the mix to your satisfaction. All of this is included in my flat rate. No hidden charges.
• My mixing rates are based on a flat fee, which includes all changes, recalls and mix revisions until you approve the mix as FINAL. No hidden charges. Once you approve a final mix, I will provide all of the same standard mix passes that i would provide a Major Label - Main Pass, Instrumental, A cappella, and TV Track (mix minus Lead Vocal).
• You will have 30 days to approve or make any changes. This method also gives the ability to be mixing several songs at once. Say you have a 10-song project that I'm mixing for you. We can mix all of the songs, let you live with and listen to the mixes for a week or two, then come back and put the finishing touches on each mix before printing final passes for all of the songs. Nothing is finished until you say it is, and I can pull up a new mix in a matter of minutes.
• Changes made AFTER the 30 day approval period will incure additional charges.
• Once your mix is complete, I can send your 24 bit final mix passes back to you on CD-R, DVD-R, or upload them to you via secure FTP, or I can send them directly to Mastering for you. And at your request, I can provide you with MP3's of the final mix so you can stream them on MySpace or your own website.
